QMaterial requirements for mold back plates
Mold back plates must have good magnetic conductivity such as mild steel, medium carbon steel and mold steel. Pure aluminum, brass and non-magnetic stainless steel are not applicable. Professional magnetic flux testing is available for special mold materials before project launch.

Magnetic force relies on closed magnetic loop inside mold back plates. Higher flatness means smaller air gap and stronger actual clamping force. Severe unevenness, deep grooves or heavy rust will reduce effective contact area and trigger system safety alarms.
